I began low-carbing on January 2, 2001. I had tried to lose weight in 2000 by doing a version of a low-fat diet that I had developed myself. Needless to say, this did not work well for me. After almost 8 months, I was only down 29.5 lbs. I decided to do something different in the New Year. Just after Christmas I went out and bought Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution, a cheap paperback book that explains it all. A new version of this book was released on December 4, 2001. I highly recommend the updated version! |
